Martin Hill Ortiz, a native of Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a researcher and professor at the Ponce University of Health Sciences in Ponce, Puerto Rico, where he lives with his wife and son.
Hill Ortiz has three novels published by small presses: A Predatory Mind (Loose Leaves Publishing, 2013), Never Kill A Friend, (Ransom Note Press, 2015), A Predator’s Game (Rook’s Page, 2016) and a novella, Dead Man’s Trail (Seven Archons Press, 2014).
Over twenty of his short stories have been published in journals and anthologies including Haunts, Mystery Weekly, Miami Accent, Whispers from the Abyss and Over My Dead Body.
An award winning poet in addition to his scientific background, he has worked in theater, operating a comedy troupe in South Florida.
